Senior Software Support Engineer


We are currently looking to recruit a software support engineer for our client based in Dublin.  You will act as the first point of contact to assist in the escalation and resolution for live site investigations.  Your responsibilities will include providing technical support to both development and engineering teams within the organisation.

Key skills & Qualifications

·       Experience in Cloud Technologies is essential for this role (Azure, AWS & Google Cloud)

·       Degree in Computer Science

·       Scripting (Powershell, CMD, Bash)

·       Programming (C#, JSON, JS, XML)

·       Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Server Operating Systems

·       Experience in SQL Server administration, database administration, backup, replication, disaster recovery strategies

·       Demonstrate key troubleshooting  skills  & monitoring of performance metrics

·       Ability to analyse software issues for any repeat problems and how to solve these issues by improving product performance

·       ITIL experience would be an advantage
