Systems Engineer Level 2 for Service Desk - Wexford

If you would, call me today as we are currently looking to recruit an experienced technical/systems support engineer with proven experience in a service desk environment.  The ideal candidate will have a broad technical background and excellent communication skills.  Ideally you will work closely with clients and handle directly their queries and aim to resolve their query maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.

• Ability to work and communicate with all levels of staff at client site is critical

• Ability to identify when assistance is required to resolve queries

• Understanding of ensuring service meets pre-determined SLA

• Excellent verbal and written English –language communication skills

• Highly motivated and committed to service delivery

• A passion for ‘always learning’ and an ability to learn new products and technology


Key skills 

• Experience working with Exchange Server2000/2003/2008/Small Business Servier2003, Active Directory

• MCSA/MCSE preferable but not essential

• Demonstrate key troubleshooting  skills

• Familiar with Terminal Services/SSL VPN

• Knowledge of (Cisco/SonicWALL) Firewall and Routers

• Good working knowledge of server hardware and storage

• Citrix and Virtualisation experience also an advantage
